New Politic was founded in 2020, a year of chaos and uncertainty. New political lines have since been redrawn, with current systems of politics and governance under question. New Politic was born out of this environment in search of a new politics for a new age, one with a commitment to the rule of law, democracy, freedom and human rights.
We’re not like other magazines. We’ve never been the choice of the Spectator crowd (thankfully). We’re also independent. That means we rely entirely on our readers.
New Politic publishes a range of intelligent pieces, including profiles, analysis of British and foreign politics, alongside reviews, photojournalism and commentaries on culture. Our mission is to understand and define the world as we see it, but also become a magazine of and for the future.
